In Proceeding 27562, Direct Energy Regulated Services (“Direct Energy”) and the Utilities Consumer Advocate (“UCA”) present their arguments before the Alberta Utilities Commission (the “Commission”) that address Direct Energy’s load forecasting methodology, seasonal multipliers, energy return margin (“ERM”), and the expiry date of its energy price setting plan (“EPSP”) application.
In Proceeding 27562, Direct Energy Regulated Services (“Direct Energy”) submits is energy price setting plan (“EPSP”) to establish regulated rates to the Alberta Utilities Commission (the “Commission”).
In February 2021, the Alberta Utilities Commission (the Commission) accepted a negotiated settlement agreement (NSA) submitted by Direct Energy Regulated Services (DERS). The NSA describes the Energy Price Settlement Plan (EPSP) that DERS will implement from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022.
Direct Energy Regulated Services (DERS) submitted a negotiated settlement agreement (NSA) regarding its Energy Price Settlement Plan (EPSP) to the Alberta Utilities Commission (the Commission) in November 2020.
The ENMAX Energy Corporation (ENMAX Energy) is the Regulated Rate Option (RRO) provider for ENMAX Power Corporation. ENMAX Energy is requesting approval for a new 2019 – 2022 Energy Price Setting Plan (EPSP) which establishes a new procurement method that relies on market forces which is used to set the energy price for RRO customers and to determine the commodity risk compensation (CRC).[1]
On October 30, 2017 the AUC issued a decision on ENMAX Energy’s 2016-2018 Energy Price Setting Plan (EPSP). The plan has been in front of the Commission since 2015 while various (and at times very detailed) aspects of the energy procurement method were discussed.

On January 30, 2017, the AUC issued decision 20448-D01-2017 on EMNAX Energy Corporation’s 2014-2018 RRO Energy Price Setting Plan (EPSP). The decision approved major parts of the proposed plan, but still requires ENMAX to submit a compliance filing.
